We started The Golf Cove to bring more golf to more people on the island of Fuerteventura. Our passion is golf, and we wanted to complement the fantastic outdoor courses already here — not replace them.

4 Golf Courses on Fuerteventura
The island has four 18-hole courses, each with its own character. All welcome visitors and offer club hire on site.
Fuerteventura Golf Club
The island's flagship course, just 5 minutes from Caleta de Fuste. An 18-hole par-70 links-style course with ocean views and volcanic landscapes. Hosted the Spanish Open in 2004. Well-maintained greens and a welcoming clubhouse. Green fees from approximately €75.
Salinas de Antigua Golf
A challenging 18-hole course designed by Manuel Piñero, set in the Antigua valley surrounded by volcanic mountains. Known for its well-designed layout and quieter atmosphere — a favourite with returning visitors. Green fees from approximately €60.
Jandía Golf
Located in the south of the island near Esquinzo, this 18-hole par-72 course designed by Ron Kirby offers dramatic ocean panoramas and a desert-style layout. Great for a day trip from Caleta. Green fees from approximately €70.
Playitas Golf
A compact but scenic 18-hole course on the east coast, part of the Playitas Sports Resort. Known for its sports-focused community and excellent practice facilities. Ideal if you're staying in the south-east. Green fees from approximately €65.

Golf Tips for Fuerteventura
Wind
Fuerteventura is one of Europe's windiest islands. Courses are exposed — expect 20-40 km/h winds, especially in summer. Club up and keep the ball low. Or play indoors at The Golf Cove when conditions are too much.
Club Hire
All four courses offer club hire. For premium clubs and electric trolleys delivered to your hotel or the course, The Golf Cove Pro Shop offers Callaway and Cobra sets from €20/day with free delivery.
Best Time to Play
October to April offers the best conditions — warm but not hot, with lighter winds. Summer months (June–August) are hotter and windier, making early morning tee times essential.
Caleta de Fuste Base
Caleta de Fuste is the best base for golf on the island. Fuerteventura Golf Club is 5 minutes away, Salinas is 15 minutes, and The Golf Cove is right on the seafront promenade.
